📖 About the Project

STEGOsaurus is a security tool developed in JavaFX that provides a user-friendly interface for data privacy operations. It features multiple encryption algorithms for text and files, as well as digital image steganography — the ability to hide secret messages inside image pixels. Users can also decrypt and extract hidden messages from images.

🔍 Sprint 3 Observations

Build: ✅ Clean build passes. Uses jBCrypt for password hashing.
Run: ✅ Launches as "Encryption - Stegosaurus" (960×628). Multiple encryption methods and image steganography features available from the main menu.
Features visible: Encryption/decryption with multiple algorithms, image steganography (hide text in images), drag-and-drop image support, JPEG support, light theme, and copy-to-clipboard buttons.
Database: H2 embedded with Hibernate 6.4.4 ORM for user management.
Test suite: ✅ 39 tests across 2 test files, all passing: EncryptionService (14 tests) and SteganographyService (25 tests). 2 test files
i18n: ✅ 5 languages — the most of any team, including Arabic (messages_ar.properties) — the only team with a right-to-left language. Also: English, Spanish, Basque, French.
CI/CD: ✅ Full cross-platform GitHub Actions workflows: build-mac-client.yml, build-windows-client.yml, build-linux-client.yml.
Design Patterns: ✅ Factory pattern (EditableBytesExtractorFactory).
